Jared Beckstead-Craan is an artist, musician, composer, double-bassist, and educator. 

They have performed in North America, Asia and the Caribbean with such luminaries as Michael Dease, Quincy Davis, Jon Gordon, Randy Napoleon, and Jocelyn Gould. They are a Geri Allen Fellow and Current member of the Gathering Orchestra under the direction of Rodney Whitaker.

Jared was recently awarded 1st place, the Scott LaFaro Prize, in the 2023 International Society of Bassists Competition.

Jared currently resides in Brooklyn.
